Penacook Community Center Welcomes New Executive Director
The Penacook Community Center (PCC) Board of Directors is pleased to announce and welcome its new Executive Director Michelle Kolias, of Weare, NH. Kolias will be responsible for overseeing the direction and development of all of PCC’s programs and staff, as well as its involvement in the local community.
“We hired Michelle based on her qualifications and ability to lead the vision of PCC forward to its next level,” said Rick Jaques, President of PCC’s Board of Directors. “We are pleased that this will be such a great fit to the present and future accomplishments of PCC.”
Kolias has a master’s degree in psychology and a degree in human services and early childhood education. She brings to PCC extensive experience leading and supervising various childcare programs in multiple settings, including owning her own center in Hampstead, New Hampshire. She has also managed family resource centers and provided family counseling.
“I am passionate about the mission of PCC,” said Kolias, “and I look forward to working with the Board of Directors and staff as we move forward in 2017.”
Kolias started at PCC on December 27th. The PCC Board of Directors will host various events at Penacook Community Center over the coming months to give PCC parents, senior citizens, and other community members the opportunity to get to know her.
